The Transylvania College Scholarship Program was instituted over 16 years ago to offer bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds the chance to receive an excellent education at our school and equal opportunities to build a successful future for themselves. Over the years, we had more than 100 scholarship students whose lives would have turned out differently had they not benefitted from the enabling environment, caring mentors and international exposure only our school could offer.
In 2016, the program evolved into the Scholarship Society @Transylvania College - a unique excellence program in Romania, reconfigured to support gifted students from all over the country to unfold their highest potential throughout high school, following an international curriculum. Our alumni are now studying at top universities of their choice throughout the world.
Our community’s pledge to spread our provision of a commensurate education to more outstanding pupils is lead by the school’s Board of Advisors, as program ambassadors. We are committed to offering up to 3 new high school scholarships each year.
We grant this opportunity nationally with the intention of identifying the most promising students in the country and creating a culture that supports excellence. Our vision is to put Romania on the world map through its future inventors, artists, researchers, activists and leaders.
